Ocean Ridge Plantation®: Sunset Beach, NC
Lion’s Paw
Created by architect Willard Byrd, the Lion’s Paw Course in Ocean Ridge Plantation® is a masterfully created piece of beauty. A hilly course with a number of wetlands, this rustic yet pristine course is listed by Golf Digest as one the “Top 50 in Myrtle Beach.”
Panther’s Run
Panther Run’s blend of modern course design and natural beauty is being called a new breed of golf course. Architect Tim Cate’s genius has been proven by the course’s popularity. Golf Digest has also named Panther’s Run as one of the top “Places to Play” and was on the “Top 50 of Myrtle Beach” list. The course’s nationally ranked pro shop also adds to this course’s excellence.
Tiger’s Eye
This challenging course features natural marshlands and waterfalls, native wildflowers and trees and hills that resemble traditional North Carolina sand hills. Bring your short game and precision. This tough course was voted among Golf Digest's "Top 100 Public Golf Courses in America" in 2007 and 2008.
Leopard’s Chase
Another Tim Cate creation, Leopard’s Chase is the plantation’s newest course and has also been ranked by Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine as one of the Top 10 Best New Courses in America in 2007. With a spectacular blend of man-made features and natural landscaping, these greens are must-see pieces of beauty, not to mention the perfection of the course.
Sea Trail Plantation®: Sunset Beach, NC
Jones
The Rees Jones Golf Course offers visitors a beautifully crafted yet straightforward course. Perfect for a beginner golfer, this course has its challenging portions, but with its wide fairways and natural flora and fauna, this course is a popular destination for golfers of all ages and talent levels.
Maples
Running along the beautifully scenic Calabash Creek, the Maples Golf Course is a par 72 course, with natural Carolina pines framing the greens. With native wildlife such as ospreys living along the creek, the splendor of this course is undeniable.
Byrd

St. James Plantation®: Southport, NC
The Founders Club
This award-winning 18-hole course was intricately designed by P.B. Dye and serves as one of America’s championship courses. Known for its challenging layout, The Founders Club Course is one of the most prestigious courses on the East Coast.
The Members Club
An 18-hold Hale Irwin Signature Course, The Members Club Course has won a number of awards but is most notably recognized for its ability to accommodate any golfer, no matter their skill level. The Thistle- Sunset Beach, NC
Taking its name from an ancient Scottish golf society, the brand new Thistle Golf Club is the most gorgeous and challenging 27-hole course on the Grand Strand. The course has an undeniable Scottish feel, and is a Carolina must-see.
Crow Creek – Calabash, NC
Designed by Rick Robbins an architect, who was formerly a Jack Nicklaus design associate, the new Crow Creek Golf Course is now one of the most popular sites for golfers in the Myrtle Beach area. Spanning 500 acres, this club’s pristine layout is simply breathtaking.
Brunswick Forest- Leland, NC
