Visit this uninhabited barrier island located across Mad Inlet from Sunset Beach, a popular destination for vacationers. You can reach it by walking along the oceanfront from the west end of Sunset Beach.

Museum of Coastal Carolina

A great place for kids, the museum is located at Ocean Isle Beach. They will love the standing exhibits on the native wildlife, ocean tides and live touch tank. Plus don't forget to watch for special events the museum has throughout the year.

Ingram Planetarium

Located on the mainland in Sunset Beach, the planetarium includes a theater for rotating shows, observation and exploration activites room for children and a great gift shop!
